St. Michael and all Angels is a mission of the Diocese of San Joaquin (http://www.dioceseofsanjoaquin.net), which is comprised of 37 congregations in the San Joaquin Valley of Central California. The Rt. Rev. Dr. Eric Vawter Menees is the Vth Bishop of San Joaquin, succeeding the Rt. Rev. John- David Schofield in 2011. After five years of working its way through the courts, the trial began on January 6, 2014, and while the judgment came down against us, the case is under appeal. The lawsuit has frozen the assets of the diocese, but upon release they will be available again for ministry support to missions, both domestic and foreign.  A little history…  The original St. Michael and All Angels Mission was founded in the early 1900s, but was short lived.
