ARDF: Ethiopia Partnership Brings Evangelism, Education and Tribal Peace to Gambella

On Tuesday, November 16, the Anglican Church in Ethiopia opened the Gambella Anglican Centre community library and resource center in Gambella. The Anglican Relief and Development Fund in cooperation with the Church Mission Society (CMS) in Ireland provided funding for the the multi-purpose community center, the only equipped community information and resource center for over 250,000 people.

During the first year, a projected 1,000 students will use the mission center library. Within only three years, it will serve over 75,000 people including Bible study, activities and education, as well as community outreach programs that promote tribal conflict resolution.
