Associate to the Rector

Website Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church

Job Description

Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church in Fort Worth, Texas, under the direction of Bishop Ryan Reed, of the Anglican Church in North America, seeks an associate to the Rector, who is catholic in heart and mind, evangelical in preaching and zeal, and charismatic in mission and evangelism. He should take great care in the ministry of the Word – particularly in preaching and teaching – administration of the sacraments, and should display both competency in the administration and delegation of lay ministerial responsibilities, as well as an entrepreneurial mind in his willingness to enter into the “marketplace” and lead people into a vibrant relationship with Jesus and his Church.

About CTR

At our core, CTR is a church that wants to be a “city on a hill” in Fort Worth, and church that plants churches. Established in 2008, CTR engaged in its first planting effort from 2009 – 2013, when Bishop Iker asked the Rector to shepherd a group of lay leaders in Waco, TX, who wanted to form a parish. That group matured into Christ Church, Waco. Within two years, CTR found itself helping cooperatively with another church plant in College Station, TX, pouring its time, talent, and treasure into what is now becoming Church of the Incarnation. An exploration of our web site will provide a more fulsome look into our vision, our mission, our core values, and our life as a congregation. In short, we believe the transformational love, grace, and mercy of Jesus Christ, issued in the power of the Holy Spirit, is the most powerful force for good in the world today.
