Next Generation Minister (Part-Time)

Prince of Peace Anglican Church is seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Next Generation Minister to help raise the next generation of disciples of Jesus Christ.
This part-time position (15 hours per week) provides leadership for ministry among children, youth, and families, with primary responsibility for youth (5th–12th grade) and family discipleship, and secondary oversight of children’s and nursery ministries.
We are looking for a leader who loves Jesus, loves young people, embraces the historic Anglican faith, and desires to see children, youth, and families encounter Christ, grow as disciples, and become active participants in the worship, sacramental life, and mission of the Church.

Ministry Vision
The Next Generation Minister will help advance a ministry vision centered on:
Making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ.
Equipping parents as the primary spiritual leaders of their children.
Forming children and youth in the historic Christian and Anglican faith.
Catechizing youth and families for Baptism and Confirmation.
Building volunteer leaders and mentoring relationships.
Cultivating a culture of prayer, spiritual renewal, and revival.
Integrating young people into the worship, fellowship, and mission of the Church.
Helping whole families encounter Jesus Christ and grow together in faith.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead weekly youth ministry gatherings.
Build meaningful discipleship relationships with youth.
Recruit, train, and encourage volunteer leaders.
Equip parents in family discipleship.
Assist with Baptism and Confirmation preparation.
Support children’s ministry and nursery volunteers.
Coordinate outreach events, retreats, service projects, and Vacation Bible Camp as time allows.
Work collaboratively with the Rector and parish leadership to develop a cohesive discipleship pathway from infancy through high school graduation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Be committed to the authority of Scripture and historic Christian orthodoxy.
Embrace Anglican theology, worship, and mission.
Possess strong relational, leadership, and organizational skills.
Have experience in youth, children’s, family, or church ministry.
Have theological education, ministry training, or relevant ministry experience (seminary training is a plus).
Be committed to a life of prayer, discipleship, and servant leadership.

Flexible schedule including Sundays and occasional special events
