Rector

We value a good preacher and teacher, who is
trained in Anglican orthodoxy and can handle
himself competently as a theologian. He does
not need to be an academic, but we would like
for him to be able to think theologically. We
also value a Rector who has a heart for pastoral
care. We look for a “lover of souls,” and one
who will shepherd this flock with tenderness
and care and support Stephen Ministry as an
aid to serving parishioners
We are looking for a man of character. While
we are all miserable sinners and in need of
God’s grace and mercy, we pray for a man who
has traits that reflect an honest and faithful
heart, with a steadfastness of conviction that
colors all his actions. Most of all, we want a man
of prayer, who has a developed dependency on
the Triune God through prayer, study, and
service. A servant of the Lord who
demonstrates honesty as a faithful pastor and
teacher.
Leadership is important. We want to be led!
Through personal integrity, preaching and
teaching, this leadership can be most fruitful.
We are looking for a Rector who can lead in this
manner to God’s glory.
We look for a Rector interested in enhancing
the vision and direction this parish has
established, to continue to move forward under
the direction of the Holy Spirit. God is doing
good and faithful work among us. We look for
a leader who is a catalyst for the future and a
developer of the vision/mission of Christ
Anglican Church. We are open to new ideas
and challenges. We are a healthy parish
desiring leadership in a faithful direction of
growth.
We believe we would best be served by an
experienced priest. That experience can come
in many forms, whether it be an associate at a
larger parish or a rector of a smaller parish.
Positive experience, where success was
celebrated, failures learned from, challenges
pursued and conflict faithfully managed will
be a vital element of our next Rector.
