EMPLOYEE BENEFITS & INSURANCE

The ACNA Provincial Office and Executive Committee are making important updates to how health and ancillary benefits are offered. After careful review and in light of low participation and rising costs, the Province will conclude its health (medical, dental, vision) and ancillary benefit programs (life, disability, etc.) on December 31, 2025. This change creates an opportunity for churches and dioceses to explore more affordable, localized solutions that better fit their needs. (Note that the Voya retirement plan will remain unchanged and continues to be a strong, cost-effective offering with wide participation across the Province.)

  • Brotherhood Mutual is our preferred ministry partner for property and liability insurance, and its subsidiary, Brotherhood Works Insurance Services, LLC is our preferred ministry partner for health and ancillary insurance solutions going forward.

  • Churches and dioceses can connect with Brotherhood Mutual brokers directly to develop options specifically designed for our churches and dioceses by filling out the form below.

  • Benefits specialists from Brotherhood Works and Lightwell Insurance Advisors will be able to provide insurance quotes beginning on September 1, 2025, for the 2026 calendar year.

  • Churches wishing to continue coverage for ancillary benefits (life/disability) can do so directly with Frost/OneAmerica with no new evidence of insurability required if they meet certain conditions. The ACNA Retirement Plan changed recordkeepers from MassMutual to Voya in June of 2022.

Participant Advice Service Available to You

For new employees coming into the ACNA retirement plan, the new enrollment process is as follows:

Find out from your church/ministry administrator if your employer remits contributions directly to Voya or to ADMIN Partners and follow the instructions below.

Church/Ministry locations that remit contributions directly via the Voya web portal:

  • The new employee is to complete the enrollment form and provide it to the person responsible for remitting plan contributions who will, in turn, enroll the new participant via the Voya web portal.

Church/Ministry locations that remit contributions through ADMIN Partners:

  • The new employee is to complete the enrollment forrm.
  • Enrollment forms can be emailed to service@youradminpartners.com Or fax to ADMIN Partners at 856.755.3515

**In all cases, we strongly recommend that a beneficiary form be completed with a copy to remain in the employee’s personnel file. If you do not wish to complete the beneficiary form, please keep your beneficiary information up to date in the Personal Information Section of your account on the Voya website.
