Hurricane Ian Disaster Response Through ARDF

Hurricane Ian made landfall as one of southwest Florida’s most intense hurricanes on record, according to weather.com. Destructive winds and flooding rainfall accompanied it as it moved inland, and the damage has been extensive. The Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) has developed a Disaster Response Network, and before Ian even hit the States, ACNA churches preemptively gathered supplies to deliver to those in need.

Now, the Gulf Atlantic Diocese, along with St. Peter’s Cathedral in Tallahassee, has organized a cleaning supply drive. These needed items will be delivered to Hurricane Ian survivors later in October.

Additionally, a work week is being planned in Sarasota, FL from November 6-12, 2022. Volunteers are welcome to join the team! Fill out this form to express your interest.

Join them in these or other efforts by donating and/or volunteering at Hurricane Ian Relief.
