The Colorado Springs Anglican Network is seeking a Church-Planting Apprentice to begin discernment of planting a new 3-streams (Scripture, Sacrament, & Spirit) church in Colorado Springs.
Our tested model of planting provides a 3-year runway for church planting with the support of multiple sending churches. This support includes mentorship, funding, and encouragement for people from the mother churches to be sent with the plant. After planting, the new church remains in the Network and begins contributing to the ongoing work of planting more churches in Colorado Springs and across the west.
Timeline:
Year 1: Half-time Apprenticeship
Year 2: Half-time Apprenticeship
Year 3: Full-time Residency, leading to Launch Sunday
Current Work:
Our first church plant using this model was sent out in Sept 2024. We praise God that they started strong and are continuing to thrive, with over a hundred ASA at Sunday worship!
Our next church plant (Lord willing) will be sent out in Sept 2026.
The plant for this application (Lord willing) would be sent out in Sept. 2028.
