Rector

Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Plainville, Connecticut, is seeking a full-time Rector. Holy Trinity is located in a central residential neighborhood next to the Plainville Public Library. Our worship is rooted in the historic Reformed and Anglican tradition.

The Rector will preside at the liturgy and worship services and will provide leadership in Christian education for both adults and children. Responsibilities include preaching and teaching, disciple-making, and providing pastoral care to the congregation.

Holy Trinity uses the The Book of Common Prayer (2019). The parish hosts a bi-monthly community meal and is actively involved in a variety of outreach ministries.

Our nave seats approximately 140 people, and our church building—constructed in 1851—is debt free. Holy Trinity is a member of the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word, the Anglican Church in North America, and the global Anglican movement known as Global Anglican Future Conference.
