Flooding in Myanmar
Over the last week, devastating floods and landslides have caused numerous deaths and affected hundreds of thousands of people in Myanmar. Rising flood waters and landslides have engulfed homes and cut off vast parts of the country, creating an immediate need for clean water, food, housing, medical care, and counseling to avoid further death and suffering.

Compassionate God, draw near to our brothers and sisters in Myanmar in this time of sorrow and anguish, comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who are weary, encourage those in despair, and lead us all to fullness of life; through the same Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen
