On Saturday, June 21, Archbishop Wood consecrated two bishops to the Special Jurisdiction of Armed Forces and Chaplaincy, Bishop Jay Cayangyang and Bishop Marshall MacClellan.
“It is a great joy to witness the consecration of these two men as bishops,” said Reverend Canon Daniel Morrison of the SJAFC. “The blessing of our consistent growth has brought the need for additional episcopal leadership. The addition of Bishop Jay and Bishop Marshall enables us to care for our chaplains, other ministers, and the laity of the Special Jurisdiction more effectively. We are also deeply thankful for the faithful ministries of Bishop Mike and Bishop Mark as they enter retirement, and we look forward to their continued assistance and support.”
